More Than a Home Sale: A Heartfelt Goodbye

Some real estate transactions go beyond the typical buying and selling of houses, and today was definitely one of those for me. 

Today I had the honor of helping my daughter’s first grade teacher sell her home, and my heart is so full. She poured so much love, patience, and encouragement into Kai every single day. Thank you for trusting me with your home, your memories, and this next step. We love you!

Walking through her home, you could feel all the love and care she put into it over the years. Every room had its own story, from simple everyday moments to little treasures she’d tucked away along the way. It made saying goodbye to this house feel so personal, and I’m so grateful she trusted me to help with this next chapter.

As she packed up her home, she even found little keepsakes that brought back memories and smiles. Moments like these are why I love what I do. Selling a house isn’t just about contracts and keys—it’s about honoring the life that was lived there and helping someone move forward with excitement for the next chapter.

To my daughter’s teacher: thank you for letting me be a part of this journey. I hope your new chapter brings you as much joy as this home brought you over the years.
