A Fun Escape to the Smoky Mountains

We absolutely ❤️ the Smoky Mountains! Over the past few days, we took some much-needed time to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and just breathe. There is nothing like a little mental break to recharge your batteries.

Our trip was full of adventure, laughter, and, of course, plenty of delicious food. We kicked things off by exploring the SkyTrail, taking in the incredible views and feeling on top of the world. The scenery was breathtaking, and it was the perfect way to start our mountain getaway.

Next, we visited the Gatlinburg SkyPark, which was just as amazing as everyone says. From the skybridge to the trails, it was a day full of awe-inspiring views and fresh mountain air. Every turn felt like a scene straight out of a movie, and we could not stop snapping photos.

We also made a stop at the University of Tennessee, and let me tell you, Kai fell in love instantly. There is something about the energy of a college campus that is so inspiring, and it was fun to explore with her excitement leading the way. I am happy Kai loves it, but I will not be caught wearing that gaudy orange.

Of course, no trip to the Smokies is complete without a visit to Dollywood. From thrilling rides to shows and tasty treats, we soaked up every moment. It was a full day of laughter, fun, and memories that we will be talking about for years to come.

Throughout the trip, we got to spend quality time with our dear friends, Ivette Gibbe-Fields and Jason Fields, which made it even more special. Sharing adventures, trying new foods, and simply enjoying each other’s company reminded us how important it is to take a break and make time for the people we love.

Every bite of food, every breathtaking view, and every moment of laughter made this trip unforgettable. The Smoky Mountains are such a magical place to recharge, explore, and create lasting memories. We already cannot wait to come back and experience even more of what this beautiful area has to offer.
